| Description | I was searching for which file had some text I knew for sure was in one of the files in the current directory, but DC kept finding nothing. I even search for the text "a" in a directory with text files, nothing. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Turned out there were some options in the Advanced tab that I set last time I did a search (weeks ago before vacation) to only search for files modified in the last day. This is why no text files were found, but I completely forgot there was anything set in the Advanced tab, and DC didn't show that. | ||||
| Additional Information | Please show an asterisk or something to indicate that there are Advanced options set, otherwise the user might forget that and will be surprised why DC doesn't find anything, or silently finds fewer files than it should. | ||||

It is a bug. This option always enabled at first search start. |

I've just found that, worse, the advanced settings are "sticky" if you disable them and restart DC. 1. Set some advanced settings. 2. Search 3. Exit DC 4. Launch DC and verify in Search that some advanced settings are set. 5. Untick all advanced settings 6. Conduct the search 7. Exit DC 8. Launch DC 9. Notice that advanced settings are still set, even though the last time Search was used, they were all unset. |
