In multi Rename we have the option: "First Char Off Every Word Uppercase" I would like one option more: "First Char Uppercase with Exceptions"
Reason: I use the multi-rename tool mostly for renaming media titels: like books, movies, songs, albums. You want names to have uppercase but not words like: "a", "the", "of", "at", "with", "to".
Capitals are mostly ugly. It is ugly to capitalize Prepositions and small words like "a", "an", "the", "or", "and". So I want to rename something like "RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARC" to "Raiders of the Lost Arc". Or Names like "peter van der heiden" to the proper "Peter van der Heiden". (Germans will love this even more)
So I would like to be able to define exceptions to the uppercase for every word. This way it will work for any language. The first word should preferably be capitalized. (optional?)
I think this would greatly enhance the value of the Multi-rename tool. It would be great if there would be shortcut for this as well like ALT+F2, so you easily clean up poorly formatted filenames. One other reason to properly format filenames is, you can import filenames as tags in songs. This is huge time saver if you have a large media collection. It makes lists much more readable if they are well formatted.
