In version 0.5.4 beta, Information about opened tabs is stored in doublecmd.xml.

I use Double Commander in some different computers. In order to get the same same experience, I've put the configure files and plugins into a Git repository. Because different computer has different opened tabs. It's better to save them into a different XML file, let's say tabs.xml
