Hi!

Don't know, maybe it is possible to make it using "unicows.dll" from Microsoft. But it is needed some work to do this.

Yes it would be nice to see DC in Win98 too. It may be possible. There is Unicows.dll 1.1.3790.0 for Win98 and there's project KernelEx for Windows 98: http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/130936-kernelex-452/ which AFAIK supports some unicode layer. It allows run a lot of newer apss that normally doesn't run under win98, list: http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/152471-kernelex-apps-compatibility-list-new/. Unfortunatelly DC doesn't start without any error message. Is there some debug-enabled version to trace the problem? Maybe it could be easily fixed.

I already trying to run DC under Win98, and found that with small modifications in source code it works with "unicows.dll".
But it needs more deeply testing on real machines (I tested it on VirtualBox only).

So why not to keep this modification and let users to test it. On MSFN there are still Win98 users that run it on real machines. I also have it in multiboot...
