Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to make it so that when I am quick-searching and I press up arrow key or down arrow key, it cancels out of the quick search box? Right now those keys do nothing if I am in quick search, and I have to press ESC and then use the arrow keys to navigate...

Yes, this feature would be very nice, and I think that this is not to much coding.

No, Up/Down keys in quick search mode is used to navigate between found files (if multiply files is found).
