When option to rename files excluding their extension is on, if you try to rename files or folders with names which contain dots, selection for renaming ends before third dot. For example, folder named A.B.C.D is selected for renaming (excluding extension is turned on). After shift+f6 you will have <start_selection>A.B.C<end_selection>.D, where it should be <start_selection>A.B.C.D<end_selection>.
