RAR
(plugin command: %commander_path%/plugins/wcx/unrar/unrar.wcx)

Zip works fine.

Are you install libunrar-nonfree package? It is needed to work with rar archives.

Do you have libunrar.so installed? I think it comes with DC as well. Maybe it is not compatible, try to install it from your distribution.
You cannot pack to rar, because it is only an unpacker. It shouldn't even allow you to pack.

If you want to pack into RAR then:
  • Install "rar" package, if not installed
  • Go to "Options"->"Plugins"->"Packer plugins" and disable "unrar" plugin.
After this DC will use "rar" program to work with RAR archives instead of plugin that supports only extraction.

This fixed it:
Code:
sudo apt-get install libunrar

Thanks for the hint :)
